GOLDEN TAILS PROGRAM

SPONSOR ME

A HAPPILY EVER AFTER FOR ALL ANIMALS

Not all animals that find themselves in need of rescue are young and healthy. Some animals come in suffering from medical or behavioral issues that mean they aren’t able to be rehomed. Our Golden Tails Program is our commitment to care for these animals for the remainder of their lives. Our dedicated foster carers provide them with a warm home and as much love as they can handle, and we provide the rest. This way we are ensuring these animals will get the love and warm home they deserve for the rest of their years.

SPONSOR TO SAVE A LIFE

GOLDEN TAILS SPONSORSHIP DETAILS

Account Name: Happy Tails Animal Rescue Inc.
BSB: 114879
Account: 451726960
Reference: Your name and the name of the animal you wish to support.

Our Golden Tails animals all require some form of specialist care, such as prescription foods, medication, rehabilitation services, surgeries and routine vet procedures.

Sadly, without programs such as our Golden Tails, most of these animals would be euthanased.

By choosing to sponsor one of our animals, you are literally saving their life and ensuring they get their happily ever after. As a sponsor, you will receive a sponsorship packet, which includes details about your sponsored animal and their daily needs, a sponsorship certificate with a photo, and a report on the animal’s well-being.

You can also meet the animal you want to sponsor. Just send us an email, and prepare to be charmed!

MEET OUR GOLDEN TAILS

LUCY

‘WE LOVE LUCY’

I was surrendered to a shelter when my family had to move. The stress of being in a shelter at my age understandably put me under a lot of stress and I got very sick with cat flu because of it…

HUMPHREY

‘THREE LEGS DOESNT DEFINE ME’

“Humphreys condition of being a tripod had been left untreated for so long that when he arrived into care he was stiff and struggling to mobilise in a normal way….”

MISS OOFIE

‘REFINED OLDER GAL’

“Although Oofi looks like a pup, she’s almost 12 years old, has really bad arthritis and two ruptured crutiates, making mobility difficult for her. Oofi is not an ideal candidate for surgery.…”

MALIBU

‘HEY THERE YOU, I’M MALIBU ‘

“I do not receive a signal from my brain telling me my bladder is full, so I simply urinate without my knowing. Happy Tails took me to four different vets for treatment of my condition, but each one of them suggested I be euthanized…”

Rainbow Bridge

ALEXANDER PUSSY CAT

‘AFFECTIONATE ALEX’

I ended up at a shelter for months with limited prospects of being passed for adoption due to a diagnosis of a Grade 4+ heart murmur and cat flu. I was one of the lucky ones…

DEXTER

LOVE BUG

As a result of the viral infection, I had constant discharge from my eyes and nose, leaving me unable to meow due to being so congested. My food allergies made me so uncomfortable I would pull chunks of fur from my body…

LEWIS

‘LUCKY LEWIS’

My health issues include: being deaf, diabetic, having a heart murmur, dermatitis and terrible teeth.  I was also severely overgrooming to the point of pulling my own fur out…

SULLY

‘SENSATIONAL SULLY’

“I just couldn’t let go of my fear.  Even a vet gave up on me and recommended I be put down, as my fear towards humans would make it impossible to be adopted, but Happy Tails refused to give me up on me…”

SEBASTIAN

‘SPOTLIGHT ON SEBASTIAN’

Happy Tails believes I was a neglect case, as they discovered I was not medicated for my diabetes for an extended period of time.  My untreated diabetes led to leg deformities…

MILO

‘THE GENTLE GIANT’

“I came to Happy Tails as a private surrender from a family who was moving. When I came to Happy Tails I was sadly missing one of my back legs. The Happy Tails team have no idea how I lost my fourth leg and neither do I…”

MADDIE

‘CLASSY LADY’

GRACIE WUWU

‘OUR LITTLE GRACIE’

I was born with paralyzed hind legs, but it hasn’t stopped me. I have developed very strong arms so I can run very fast and climb up the stairs just like my siblings do…
