How they came to Happy Tails: Abercrombie & Fitch came under our care last year when the rescue that had initially saved them had to sadly close their doors.
Why they are retired as Golden Tails: The boys suffer from a condition called Manx syndrome. This is a spinal cord irregularity that can occur in cats born without a tail, leading to something similar to Spina Bifida. Many other issues can then arise, such as bladder, bowel & digestive disorders. Most cats with Manx syndrome have dramatically shortened lives.
Their Happy Tale: Despite their condition, and their unknown future, both boys are happy and playful. Very much loved by their family, who just adore these special boys.
How your donation helps: All of Abercrombie & Fitch’s vetwork is covered for life. This includes regular items such as health checks, vaccinations and prescription food; but also extra items such as blood tests and x-rays.
