How she came to Happy Tails: Lucy was surrendered to a shelter when her family could no longer keep her. Just a few days later Lucy caught the flu and hasn’t been able to shake it ever since so she came to join the Happy Tails family. The stress of the shelter was just too much for this little old lady to handle.

Why she is retired as a Golden Tail: On top of chronic flu, Lucy has kidney failure; requiring regular testing and a prescription diet.

Her Happy Tale: Despite being 11 years old, Lucy is a lively old gal. Her favourite pastimes include snuggling in bed with her carer (as close to her face as allowed), or snoozing on her own princess bed. This special little lady is showered in love and affection in her forever home.

How your donation helps: All of Lucy’s vetwork is covered for life. This includes regular items such as health checks, vaccinations and prescription food; but also extra items such as blood tests and x-rays.
