Pets 2 Safety

Help us provide a safe refuge for the pets of those fleeing from domestic violence…

According to a recent Australian study, 50% of women who were victim to domestic violence reported that their violent partner had hurt or killed one of their pets. The study also revealed that as many as 33% had delayed leaving their violent relationship out of fear for their pet’s safety.

Happy Tails Animal Rescue Inc. has proudly partnered with DV Connect to provide temporary and emergency housing for animals of individuals at risk or experiencing domestic violence in Queensland.
